Janine Holmes, PhD Founder/CEO
Holmes Academic Services, LLC is owned and operated by Janine Holmes, PhD. Dr. Holmes is a certified educator with teaching and school leadership credentials from the Louisiana Department of Education. She held roles as a teacher, dean of students, assistant principal, and principal for nearly 30 years at K-12 schools in the Greater New Orleans region. Dr. Holmes joined charter schools in Orleans and Jefferson parishes serving in various roles including school turnaround specialist, director of student services, and academic coach. These positions fueled her desire to support school administrators as they faced the challenges of leading schools.
Reflecting on her valued relationships with mentors and mentees, Dr. Holmes found that her passion is centered on reducing school leader attrition that negatively impacts students, especially in underserved communities. She recognizes the challenges leaders encounter in managing and prioritizing the many demands on their time. With her rich educational background along with expertise in varied areas, Dr. Holmes can provide relief and strategic support for extremely busy school leaders.
